I had seen these before and thought they looked very strange and wouldn't work. But I was wrong. After spending money on all kinds of neck massagers, I decided to try this one. Oh my gosh... it's unbelievable. I can't believe I missed out on this. First of all, it's rechargeable and cordless, so I can use it anywhere without having to sit near an outlet. I can carry it all around the house. There's a strap that goes around you to hold it in place. The little "hands" and "fingers" are made of soft silicone. They sit on your neck, move around, and feel just like a person massaging with their hands. Wonderful! There's also a red light. I get very tense and have chronic aches in general, and using this helps. Earlier this week I had such severe pain in my shoulder, neck and arm that I could barely move. I used this, even put it against the side of my shoulder and arm, and it helped a lot. I'm so grateful to own it. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Just one warning: if you have long hair, tie it up so it doesn't get caught in the "fingers".

At first glance this odd little creature had me curious. Within seconds of turning it on I was truly impressed. Those little hands really have a way of gripping and massaging the neck and what really feels like a natural motion. Before even using the strap it already had a really good level of depth to the massage. The motors feel really strong and had no hesitation squeezing muscles on the back of the neck. This little device feels great. I think the hand design is more of a gimmick than anything else. I've ordered many neck massagers, and this one feels the same as the massagers that don't have a hand design but are the same in all other aspects, except instead of a hand, they have a paddle. However, for aesthetic purposes, it's nice. The strap makes all the difference. Once the device is on, you can manually pull the strap to the tightness you want or wrap it around your back to hold it in place. The heat is very effective. At first, I could not feel it, but as the machine continues to massage, the heat becomes noticeable. The power controller mechanism is a bit annoying. You can't see it, so you are basically guessing if you want to change massage or heat settings during the massage. You can always take off the machine and look at the buttons and then put it back on, but that's a little annoying. It would be nice to have a controller that extends from the machine that could velcro onto the tightening strap. In summary: Nice massage. Various heat and massage settings. Difficult to control during massage. The hands seem gimmicky, but they work fine. The tightening strap works great.
